What is Spring Festival?

I think, what Alexander could recall how it feels like in celebrating spring festival in China when he grows up, might be concluded as Food, Full, Fool.

He told me after the New Year Eve Dinner with my parents. - "I ate a lot of food and my tummy grew and grew and the clothes burst."

But he was too naive. My dad did not even finish his feeding plan. He was still in the kitchen stir-frying the fish crust.
